Hello members and readers.

There has been a little discussion on the contents of the forum and some comment by a few members.

Let us explain how we operate.

If you want to read AVMs official position, information and documentation you need to use the website at This is our home and where we began our journey.

After some time we debated among each other whether or not we should open up a message forum and after quite some time we decided to publish a forum so that those who register as AVM forum members could have their say. We recognised right from the start the difficulties of administering such a forum with such emotive topics, but on balance we reckoned you were entitled to your say instead of just reading what we have to say on the website.

It has already been noted by some but we repeat a forum is NOT a website. They are two different online presences. You cannot enter anything onto the website. We alone can do that, but YOU can have your say in the forum, if you choose to do so.

However, when postings are made to the forum they are the opinions and information of the poster and have nothing whatever to do with the opinions and views of AVM necessarily. Sometimes we ourselves make forum posts too. However all AVM members who control these systems are anonymous and will remain so.

So in a nutshell, the website is our opinion, information and views.

The forum is where you have your say and post your information. Your full anonymity is guaranteed unless you decide to name yourself when you make a posting.

We understand that the forum may appear controversial and murky to some, and this may or may not be valid. Working on the huge number of visitors we get to the forum and website we can say these systems are very very busy. We have banned one former member and two have cancelled their membership because we refused to allow them to have their immature ways in here. Overall the forum itself has operated very well from our perspective. Anyway on balance as we say we reckoned everybody who can talk in reasoned, reasonable and rational terms was entitled to speak their truth and here we are.

We also operate 6 email lists.
